Events | The Opinion Awards

THE WEEK Opinion Awards is THE WEEK’s signature event, honoring the best opinion journalists in America. THE WEEK and its panel of judges recognize the best columnist, the best blogger and the best cartoonist of the year.

Now in its ninth consecutive year, THE WEEK Opinion Awards has evolved into a must-attend event for anyone at or interested in the nexus of political and media power. Partnering with The Aspen Institute, THE WEEK conceived the Opinion Awards and Forum as a way of furthering intelligent dialogue about current events in a non-partisan manner.

The Opinion Awards include:

  • Awards ceremony, in Washington, DC
  • Panel discussion, led by Sir Harold Evans, THE WEEK Editor-at-large
  • Mini-site
  • In-magazine supplement

Various sponsorship levels are available.
